We explain TrustRank links

Is this a dream or reality? Get-Links-Now.biz takes on link building using the TrustRank theory. The TrustRank theory traces it origins back to a paper written by Zoltan Gyongi, Hector Garcia-Molina and Jan Pedersen whilst still at Stanford University. The paper itself is full of mathematical equations which to the Layman has no meaning whatsoever. Here we try to explain the TrustRank theory in plain English.

Please be advised that all search engine optimisation companies that cite TrustRank as a key source of good placement in search engines are speculating on this. Nowhere, to our knowledge and extensive research, throughout Google, nor on Matt Cutt's web site (head of spam or something or other with Google) do they actually admit TrustRank exists.

Allegedly TrustRank is a faction of the PageRank algorithm that assesses how trusted yours or any other web site out there on the Internet is. Gyongi starts the paper by explaining what web spam is, going in depth into how human interface is needed in spotting web sites set up to try and fool search engines. His theory is to try and implement a scoring system to compliment the current systems like PageRank to lower the amount of actual human editing needed.

The long and short of all the mathematical equations boils down to the fact that web sites need to link build from established websites, authority sites, aged sites and sites of an official government (*.gov), educational (*.edu or *.ac ) or military (*.mil ) background. Recently it is believed that how long the domain name has been registered for also comes into play. Spammers tend to only register URLs for a year or so.

An established site is a website that has been online for sometime, but may not necessarily be a household name, like Dmoz for instance, which is high powered directory that non website owners tend to know about. An authority site is an established site that is a household, for instance, the BBC web site. It is believed that governmental, education and military sites would only link to quality sites.

So to build your website's trust with Google, Yahoo, and to a lesser extent MSN, you need to be looking for these type of links.

Building TrustRank links

If TrustRank does exist, then we can help. Firstly we can check your site to see if you would have a high chance of acceptance in Dmoz and also the Yahoo directory. Incidentally, Yahoo do charge a substantial amount of money to view your site with no guarantee of getting listed and no refunds. We can also offer *.edu link building services. We are in a position to offer marketing pages from universities throughout the U.S.A. Depending on which *.edu or university links are available at the time, and how many you require will determine the cost. Feel free to contact us to see if we can help with your TrustRank link building.
